Featured Project - Dr. Suarez Residence
Dr. Suarez Residence, Perrysburg, Ohio – Extensive design and construction documents for renovation to existing approximately 3200 sq. feet two story residence. This included preliminary approval to structurally open the entire rear wall for the expansion for the kitchen and sitting area for the greenhouse. On the first floor the garage and laundry room was expanded. A furnace room, work room and bath leading to the rear yard were also included in the renovation. New decks, pool, and landscaping will complete the project.
On the second floor the bedrooms were reconfigured, along with the bathrooms. The master bath shower was expanded and casework revised. Design features included a water wall above the fireplace, solar skylight tube for natural light and a four seasons garden room that enclosed the new construction.
Framing challenges were skillfully handled by Accessible Renovations. Initial yard clearances were first verified with the local jurisdiction and construction proceeded in August, 2007. The project met the promised construction completion schedule of December 21, 2007. The family moved to a temporary location while the project ran its course.
