Melanie Sayre has over nine years of industry experience. Her experience includes drafting (shop drawings, architectural and structural), design and project management. Her experience is diverse and includes work on retail, movie theaters, grocery stores, tenant buildouts, storefront renovations and much more.
Melanie has additional experience in product marketing as she worked on a software design team developing user interface and CAD graphics for supplemental software to AutoCAD. This work was for a major office furniture manufacturer.
Besides working for the office furniture manufacturer, Melanie's industry work experience includes working as an intern for an aluminum storefront manufacturer, as an intern for a university architect and as an associate in a mid-sized architectural firm. Her past work experience allows her to approach projects from a different perspective.
Current responsibilities include preliminary design and layouts, design development,
code research, material research, construction document drafting, project
coordination and follow-up and market assistance.
