Thomas DuBose & Associates were the architect and engineer of record for the new Forrester Wehrle headquarters, one of the premier homebuilders in Northwest Ohio. From design through construction documentation, our firm was instrumental in the layout, look and feel of the new facility.
The
Forrester Wehrle headquarters has over 15,200 square feet of space with over
4,500 square feet dedicated to lease space. The exterior is brick and stone
with stucco gable roofs that have been trimmed to resemble the company logo.
The drive-up canopy was positioned to emphasize an inviting front entry.
The project layout included space for their Design Center which showcases the many options for exterior and interior finish and furnishing options as well as fireplaces and appliances. In addition, a fully functional bath and kitchen were included within the design center to help prospective customers and guests visualize these living spaces in action.
The building is located adjacent to the expressway in Keystone Business Park. Aside from the Design Center, one of the more interesting features are the large windowed areas for vehicular views into the open areas of the building. The openness of this layout further extends to the many offices as well as the Design Center which is a focal point within the Forrester Wehrle headquarters. Visually this places motorists inside the building and further emphasizes the inviting “come and see us” attitude of Forrester Wehrle. The building was completed in 2006.
